Welding machine cable YH is designed for secondary-side wiring and connection to welding torches in arc welding machines operating at a ground‑referenced AC voltage not exceeding 200 V and a pulsed DC peak voltage of 400 V. It is a dedicated cable for secondary‑side connections and torch attachments, with a rated voltage of up to 200 V AC and a pulsed DC peak of 400 V. The construction features a single‑core design, formed by stranding multiple soft conductors. The conductor core is wrapped with heat‑resistant polyester film insulation, while an outer rubber‑based insulating sheath serves as the protective layer.

• Usage requirements:

(1) YH cables operate under low-voltage (200 V) and high-current conditions, requiring a certain degree of durability.

(2) The long-term permissible operating temperature of the welding cable shall not exceed 65°C.

(3) The motor lead cables are frequently moved, twisted, and laid out, so they must be flexible and exhibit excellent bendability.

(4) During installation, the cable is prone to being scratched or abraded by sharp steel components; therefore, it must exhibit excellent mechanical properties, such as high tear resistance and abrasion resistance.

(5) The operating environment is complex, involving exposure to sunlight, boiling water, contact with mud and water, engine oil, and acidic or alkaline liquids; therefore, the material must exhibit a certain degree of weather resistance as well as resistance to oils and solvents.

(6) Sometimes, when working with hot-welded components, good resistance to thermal deformation is required.

(7) Frequently moved, requiring a small outer diameter and light weight. Since this type of cable does not demand high electrical performance and operates in complex environmental conditions, it is impractical to design it to withstand all such challenging factors. When in use, take care to optimize operating conditions and prevent external damage.
