WDZ‑BYJ is an upgraded, next‑generation, environmentally friendly, flame‑retardant crosslinked low‑smoke, halogen‑free polyolefin insulated product that complies with IEC 227. It boasts excellent flame retardancy, low smoke emission, and reduced toxicity, addressing the shortcomings of traditional halogenated polymers—namely, the heavy smoke they produce, which can cause asphyxiation, and their corrosive effects on electrical equipment. WDZ‑BYJ epitomizes the current trend in wire and cable technology.
The halogen‑free, low‑smoke, and low‑halogen‑low‑smoke characteristics of WDZ‑BYJ cables ensure that, in the event of a fire, flame spread is slow, toxic smoke concentrations are low, visibility remains high, and the release of harmful gases is minimal, thereby facilitating the safe evacuation of personnel at the scene.
